It is very simple and easy to prepare sama rice idli, At first you need to wash a cup of rice and soak it for 4 to 5 hours after 5 hours drain it and grind it by adding little water,make a smooth thick batter,now rest it for atleast 6 hours for farmenting until it raises slightly then grease idli mold with oil,or ghee and pour the batter in the molds,now put the molds inside the idli steamer,and start the flame and steam it untill it become soft and fluffy.Now the idli is ready to serve and eat and serve with green chutney or peanuts chutney.It is really very delicious and healthy and filling Options to eat in fasting days.
For making peanuts chutney you need rosted peanuts,rock salt , dry chilli,curry leaves, green coriander,and cumin seeds,at first grind the roasted peanuts and and make a semi powder of it ,now take a fry pan heat it up put some oil or ghee and add cumin seeds and dry chilli saute it and add peanut powder,add some little water make a thick or semi thick paste as per your choice, garnish it with green coriander.
